About Us
Claddagh Crafts began in 2024 under the name TeeGee Crafts, born from my lifelong love of making things — and a not-so-quiet ‘retirement project.’ I’m Terry Guilford, and what started as a small creative venture soon grew into something bigger than I imagined.
In 2025, Marta and Aisling from Ah Sure Lookit, a craft gift store in Galway City, stocked a few of my handmade pieces. To my surprise, they sold quickly — especially the Claddagh-inspired designs. By early 2026, I decided to focus entirely on those pieces, and Claddagh Crafts was born.
Today, I create each item by hand in my workshop beside my thatched home, just a few miles from Galway City, wherever possible I use recycled materials such as pallet wood and natural finishes and processes such as oil, wax and shou sugi ban. Every piece reflects the spirit of the Claddagh: friendship, love, and loyalty — values that resonate far beyond Ireland’s shores.
“Whether you’re looking for a meaningful gift or a handcrafted reminder of Ireland, I hope you find something special here at Claddagh Crafts.”
